March 2010Midcentury.Modern (Dulwich College) - on 21 March 2010, 10-4: Get your difficult glasses on for the vintage meets modern event that has design boffins drooling. Time Out just voted Midmod one of London’s top ten attractions for 2009. And with 80 dealers and modern designers showcased and geared up to sell in a light and bright 60s building you will see why. Spot design supremos including Matthew Hilton, Russell Pinch and Sheridan Coakley schmoozing with stallholders like Michele Mason and The Assembly Room while artist Dinos Chapman and Mike Nelson sniff around for quirkier pieces including Cate and Nelson’s bookshelves with ceramics inset. The Swedish designers are flying over from Sweden especially for this one day show and will join some of the most exciting new designers and vintage dealers in Europe today.
