Estimating - Quanti-QuoteIf you have detailed architect's drawings for an extension or other building project, we can arrange for the detailed material requirements - joists, bricks, blocks, skirtings, etc. - to be estimated. There is a charge for this service which varies according to the size of the project - our sales team will advise you when drawings are submitted. The list of materials required takes approximately 7-10 days to be returned. We can quote prices for a list of materials or you can use the on-line pricing for materials we normally hold in stock. The cost of this service is refundable if an order for £500 or more (excluding VAT) is placed with us. Brick MatchingIf you want to match bricks for texture or colour, we offer a brick matching service - please contact one of our sales teams for further details. Chain of Custody (CoC)Merton Timber is committed to only purchasing Timber and Timber Panel Products that have been logged legally. Forest owners can prove good management by applying the principals of one of the accepted Forest Certification Schemes. The two schemes that are most well known in the UK are the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification schemes. For any Certification scheme to work there has to be a Chain of Custody established between the forest and the final customer. This enables finished products to be traced right back to the area of forest from which they were logged. Without this audited CoC, it cannot be established that the products we sell originate in well-managed forests and therefore the scheme would be valueless. | ||
